In response to the catastrophe caused by Houston's flooding, we at John Wesley want to reach out. The most basic thing we can do for our families, neighbors and our community, is to check on them, offer to help, take a meal and pray.
THERE ARE THREE WAYS YOU CAN HELP
1. Please let us know about your situation.
A short email letting us know that you are safe, that you have water in your house or that you have evacuated etc. will help us as we try to care for our members and their neighbors. Send to firstname.lastname@example.org.If you are in need of assistance, please include your best phone number, your address and your subdivision.
2. Be a part of a clean-up or cooking team.
If you can be a part of either a clean-up team or a cooking team, please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com. We will be doing a lot of both over the next weeks and months.
3. Monetary Donations
If you would like to donate money specifically for disaster relief, you may do so by CLICKING HERE. These funds will be under the oversite of the Missions Committee and will be used initially for our close neighbors and then for our extended neighborhood in the city.
