| JOB SEARCH SUPPORT
Are you between jobs or just looking for a better job? Many of us are now, or hav been, in the same situation and we know job search is a full-time job. We also know we can help you succeed.
Based on the proven methods found in “Job Search – The Total System,” you will learn the success philosophy, marketing techniques, and practical applications that have helped others get the right job for them. Using this system and the resources available through the Job Search Support team will help you be prepared, help you stand out from the competition, and help you be successful.
Within the context of a Christian environment, the program equips persons, through a seven-session program, to further develop specific skills, with emphasis given to the following topics:
Support–The loss of a job can be as devastating as the loss of a loved one. Strengthened by our faith and care, we help each other get through this stressful time.
Resume–Your resume tells the story of your working history. We will help you tell your story so that it stands out above the rest.
References–Poor references or no references lead to missed opportunities. You will learn how to solve the dilemma of references and to be prepared.
Networking–As many as 80% of available jobs are not advertised. But, somebody knows about them. Polish your networking skills and become more efficient in the process.
Marketing You–Use the tools at your disposal to get that interview.
Interviews–Learn the techniques of making the right impressions in an interview and then practice them.
Negotiating the Offer–The objective of the interview is to get the offer. It is then up to you to get the offer that is right for you. You will learn valuable techniques to help you make that offer right for you.
