Jesus taught His disciples to pray during quietness or the rushing winds of a storm. Jesus prayed in order to be in communication with the Father; He prayed for people, and ultimately became the perfect intercessory between God and humanity.
Jesus not only prayed, but He also cared for people. He had compassion for others and made caring a priority at every turn. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are all called to prayer and care. These practices of a disciple are essential to nurture our spiritual growth and nurture those in need.
Areas of prayer and care include many wonderful opportunities to connect to John Wesley, other disciples, and God. For more information involving giving or receiving any of the caring or prayer ministries, please call the church office or email Rev. Cheryl Smith, Pastor of Community Life.
