JWUMC Adopt-A-School Partnership with Yeager Elementary

John Wesley United Methodist Church is pleased to announce its Adopt-a-School Partnership with Yeager Elementary. For years, many of our members have volunteered their time and talents to the campus. Now, it is our hope that this partnership strengthens our support to the faculty, staff, and students of Yeager Elementary and our surrounding community.

If you would like to join our efforts, you must first register online with the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) as a volunteer. Go to http://www.cfisd.net/dept2/pie/vips_register.htm to get started. Then you can visit classrooms and read to the students, help out in the library or the school clinic, lend a hand at Field Day and do so much more!

Also, please consider becoming a mentor to a student. The mentor program is always in need of support. Mentors meet weekly with a student to help them with their educational and personal development. You must attend a training session to participate; see the attached PDF for upcoming training details.
