Please join us for VBS 2008–Beach party–Surfin' Through the Scriptures. It is sure to be a fun-filled week, enriched with the wonderful opportunity to spread God's Word to our children. Please make note of the following important VBS dates to remember:

S.A.C.K. Medical Release Form

S.A.C.K. 2008 begins June 16th and runs through July 31st from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and is designed for children 6 months old as of september 1, 2007 and will include children who have completed Kindergarten in the 2007-2008 school year. Registration will be in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. for church members on March 25 and for non-church members on March 27. Click here for more information.  

ELEMENTARY DISTRICT CAMP AT LAKEVIEW - JUNE 23 THROUGH 27

Mission: Each of our camps is designed to provide an enjoyable time of learning, fun, fellowship, and Christian growth. Programs and themes for each age level are planned to reflect this. Open to those having completed 4th and 5th grades.

ART-FULL TUESDAYS

A Fine Arts offering on Tuesdays in July! Meeting July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

Join us from 1– 3 p.m. in E212. We’ll feature a different type of art each week, share devotion, and enjoy a snack. Cost is $5 per session. Open to those having completed 1st – 5th grades. Registration is required. See Karen Muhl for more information.

MID-WEEK MANIA

Most Wednesdays in June and July from 1 to 4 p.m.

Join us for fellowship, games, and theme-inspired MANIA! Open to children having completed 1st – 5th grade. All children must have a 2008 notarized health/release form on file and registration is required. Parent volunteers will sometimes be needed. Contact Karen Muhl for more information.

CULINARY KIDS–COOKING CLASS

You're invited to learn how to cook! Our menu offerings are "Garden Goodies" on July 24 and "Mama Mia" on August 5. Participants must be 7 years of age or older and the class size is limited to 10 chefs. We meet from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Cost is $5 for materials.

 FINE ARTS WEEK   (Drama/Musical Camp)

AUGUST 11 THROUGH 15, 9:30 A.M. TO 2 P.M.

Presenting "HOLY MOSES!"

Performances: Friday, August 15, 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 17, 12:30 p.m. (lunch theatre)

Registration open to children having completed 1st – 5th grades. Cost is $65 for lunch daily, t-shirt, and musical score and CD. Auditions for speaking parts are May 18 and 25 at 12:15 p.m. Choir members do not need to audition. See Jean Galloway for more information.
