CARRY EACH OTHER’S BURDENS, AND IN THIS WAY YOU WILL FULFILL THE LAW OF CHRIST.
Our congregation's Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing crisis or difficulty.
- Terminal Illness
- Death of a Loved One
- Unemployment or Job Relocation
- Divorce or Separation
- Birth, Adoption, Miscarriage, or Infertility
- Loneliness or Discouragement
- Recovery After an Accident or Disaster
- Chronic Illness
- Spiritual Crisis
- and Many More
Stephen Ministers are highly trained, receiving 50 hours of structured training before being commissioned. Confidentiality is of high priority so that care receivers do not have to worry that their problems will become public within or outside of the church. Men receivers are matched with men and women receivers with women.
